Holiday Declaration

Try out my Affirmative, Declarative statement about the coming weeks:

Our Holiday Season 2012 will be marked (and remembered) by peals of liberating laughter; jubilant joy; feel-so-good health; demonstrated appreciation of friendship; family fun; and an ever-increasing abundance of all things we consider GOOD.

Let’s prophesy a Happy Season ahead. I challenge you!

Very well “said,” but I wonder if it’s an easier statement for a GRANDparent to make, since YOU can send a child home if that child is tired and cranky and too full of sugar while I must deal with mine. Ah, the price of motherhood. In truth, it’s a beautiful thought, and I’m going to try it at my home.

    • Point well taken, Leigh Ann. Here’s what I did as an alternative to the declaration when my kids were little: make a plate of Benadryl Sugar Cookies. (Kidding)
