Very well “said,” but I wonder if it’s an easier statement for a GRANDparent to make, since YOU can send a child home if that child is tired and cranky and too full of sugar while I must deal with mine. Ah, the price of motherhood. In truth, it’s a beautiful thought, and I’m going to try it at my home.
Point well taken, Leigh Ann. Here’s what I did as an alternative to the declaration when my kids were little: make a plate of Benadryl Sugar Cookies. (Kidding)
