Tomato Joy
To me, the perfect picture of summer happiness is this …
… vine-ripened tomatoes. The color, the smell, the taste and the memories of tomato summers gone by.
The above beauties went into my okra-tomato gumbo.
Come on over!

1. Being under the weather yesterday (thus the delay in my usual happy bringers on Friday) and really affirming, professing, confessing and believing the truthfulness of this great affirmation: “My body knows how to be well and is always moving toward wellness.”
2. After reading the article below, deciding that I want to (and believe I can) win several Gold Medals in Track and Field at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio:

(Please contribute to the NealEnjoy We Love Our Older Olympians Campaign. Thank you.)
3. Realizing my blog is no longer necessary because soap does it better:
(I saw this cool little business in their booth at the Amelia Island Farmers Market. The Clean Ridge Soap Company. www.cleanridge.com)
4. Enjoying another of Savannah’s downtown fountains.
5. Taking my summer quarter English 193 Composition for International Students class for a terrific docent-led tour of the SCAD Museum of Art. I have students from China, Taiwan, South Korea, Bolivia, Hong Kong, Brazil, and Panama.
Docent and SCAD student Drew showed us what’s currently hot in the beautiful facility.
Listen to this:
“Uh, what is this?”
Such fun!

So have you seen the Cheerios commercial that has apparently created an onslaught of controversy, apparently because of an interracial couple? No? Watch it:

Try this affirmation out and see how it feels:
“I look for that which I want to see in my life.”
