I love TUESDAY!  Just saying it sounds hip and healthy.  Say it out loud … Tuesday!

It’s so INDEPENDENT.

It’s not all depressed because it’s Monday.  It’s not Hump Day.  It’s not Beginning-of-the-Weekend Thursday (Have I taught college too long?)  And it ain’t Finally-here-Friday.

It’s itself.  Sort of like Ozzy Osborne.  Or Cher.  (But very unlike the Kardashians.)

I’m sitting here wasting a lil time before heading off to my 5:00 Tuesday ESL 680 Research class at SCAD (all grad students), drinking some Pineapple-Orange-Banana juice and trying to decide whether to wear my new very light blue pants.

I just asked myself this question:  “Is it better to be for or against”?

For the rest of this day (and hopefully for the rest of my life) …

“I SET FORTH AN INTENTION TO REVEL IN PEACEFUL JOY BY FOCUSING ON, THINKING ABOUT, FEELING THAT WHICH I AM FOR RATHER THAN THAT WHICH I AM AGAINST.”
