This afternoon at 2:00, I participated in my first Christmas Greening of Washington Square, the beautiful square near my new place in Savannah’s historic district. Twenty-two squares make up the heart of Savannah’s large historic district.
Folks from the neighborhood (called a ward here in the historic district) decorated the lamp posts in the square and the banisters of houses facing the square. What a wonderful way to get the holidays started.
What neighborly joy!

Hey Jamie. We LOVE this neighborhood. What great folks! Looking forward to getting to know them all better.
