Joyful Friday This Day! Five reasons (for me) why:
1. Mulled apple cider.
2. Hiding the Christmas elf, at Target. I’ve done it A LOT at the grandkids’ house, but saw it Thursday at Target and couldn’t resist. First, here I am with the elf.
And then the hiding.
(BTW, the purpose of all of that was to entertain the grandies.)
3. Greening. I LOVE the tradition in Historic District Savannah of Greening the Squares for the holidays. We have 22 beautiful squares downtown, and the city provides spruce and cedar, along with red ribbon. On the first weekend in December, the residents of each ward come together to decorate their square. We Washington Square folks gathered at 2:00 this past Sunday. Here are a few pictures from the fun.
4. Lighted Christmas cars.
(At Savannah’s Lighted Christmas Parade on River Street last weekend.)
5. The incredible ability to read.
Sing a song of Holiday Joy this weekend!
