I LOVE walking in my neighborhood, the Landmark Historic District of Savannah, GA. (Graphed above are Savannah’s 22 squares and the municipal park, Forsyth.)
And here’s how my recent walk played out. First, I saw some gorgeous winter camellias in my square, Washington Square.
Then I happened across the countdown calendar to St. Patrick’s Day. (In case you’re not aware, St. Patty’s Day os a HUGE DEAL in Irish-friendly Savannah.)
And then, lo and behold, I came across one of my favorite little houses in town …
… with tulip tree and Irish flag unfurled.
Finally I grand-twin-sat (can that be a word?) with Matthew and Madison.
A joyful day!
