I feel trepidation in criticising another country’s head of state (let’s face t, we have enough idiots of our own) but honestly, trump’s influence over some people does have me worried. Can’t they see, hear, feel?

“Have been.” LOL. To complete that thought: Trump has been unusually talented at exploiting the cult-like tendencies in our culture, but unfortunately I think the mindset has been with us for some time and will be there after Trump goes away (well, one can always hope).

We have a few mini-Trumps in the UK, emboldened by his successes in the USofA but I’m pinning my faith in the innate reluctance of the Brits to be too demonstrative to preserve us from the worst excesses of Trumpism. Meantime, in Europe his example is encouraging extreme right-wing views which is concerning. When does the revolution start? Sign me up, NOW!

After the Town Hall debacle I think we should all look for another planet on which to set up home. I’ve just been watching a vox pop and the idiocy of the people interviewed really terrifies me.
