I love this short two-minute You Tube video from yesteryear’s Designing Women, as Julia, running for political office in the episode, passionately expresses her beliefs (and mine) on the subject of … well, just take a listen.

On Monday, my husband and I spent almost 4 hours at a county Board of Supervisors meeting. I usually comment on water issues, and he comments on financial ones. I ended up telling the Supervisors how disgusted I felt by their lack of backbone and for talking out of both sides of their mouths. I had a raging headache by the time we left.

I know this has nothing to do with the point of your post, but good lord I loved Designing Women. The reason my nickname is Delta is because my sorority sisters said I looked like Suzanne Sugarbaker (Delta Burke) when I first arrived on Mercer’s campus in 1994. Such a classic show!
