T-Shirt Tuesday: “Savannah Wildlife T-Shirt Series” #11

So a while back, I did a short series of T-shirt Tuesdays with cool wildlife T-shirts I saw at the Savannah Wildlife Refuge gift shop.

Recently we went back, and I snapped a few more photos. (With a few folks staring at me for pulling the T-shirts off the racks and positioning them for my photo op.)

Today … the Heroic Heron.

Some of Robert’s photos of herons …

May we not be afraid to get our feet wet today.

HAPPY WET-FOOTED TUESDAY!

(This butterfly looks so much younger than my poor old hands.)

Let’s try to get out of our cocoons today.

So a while back, I did a short series of T-shirt Tuesdays with cool wildlife T-shirts I saw at the Savannah Wildlife Refuge gift shop.

We went back the other day for a morning hike, and I snapped a few other photos. (With a few folks staring at me for pulling the T-shirts off the racks and positioning them for my photo op.)

Today, the Elegant Eagle.

Just look at the eagle’s truth!

(I am increasingly appreciating the “bald is beautiful” sentiment.)

For eons, I taught writing and linguistics at Georgia Southern University, whose mascot was the magnificent eagle.

My buddy Steve Heine, Director of the Wildlife Center at Georgia Southern University, with GSU’s mascot, Freedom.

May your spirit soar today.

Recently, when Robert and I drove over to the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, I fell in love with a series of very cool T-shirts featuring area animals and what we can learn from them. So I decided to feature one on each T-shirt Tuesday for a while.

Today, the Loveable Ladybug.

A few of HR’s Ladybug Photos …

May we follow her wise advice and “spot new opportunities” today.

Today, the Delightfully Dazzling Dragonfly.

Up close and personal with a friendly dragonfly down in Georgia’s Okefenokee Swamp south of us …

And coincidentally, yesterday Donna sent me a photo of a dragonfly she spotted on her car’s antenna …

With the dragonfly, may we appreciate this long summer day.

Today, the Colorful Cardinal …

A couple of pics HR took of cardinals.

Let’s try to follow at least some of the wise Cardinal’s advice.

T-Shirt Tuesday: “Savannah Wildlife T-Shirt Series” #1

Yesterday when Robert and I ventured over to the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, we stopped by the Visitor Center for trail maps and took a gander inside the little nature-oriented gift shop. We are nerdy enough to always be on the lookout for new magnets and ornaments for our travel tree for Christmas.

I fell IN LOVE with a series of very cool T-shirts about area animals and what we can learn from them. So I decided to feature one on each T-shirt Tuesday for the next seven weeks.

First the Tremendous Turtle …

I love the “Be well-rounded” wisdom. The older I get, the rounder I seem to be.

A friendly turtle HR and I encountered at Okefenokee Swamp Park,

Let’s try to follow at least some of the wise turtle’s advice.
