Robert and I walked into one of our area libraries today to get a book I just HAD to read.
At the entrance, we saw these very cool children-made posters.

May our children’s Right to Read be preserved.
May the far-right extremist voices be silenced, so democracy can prevail.
Tomorrow’s midterm elections may provide the answer
Neal, I hope you “mays” work out tomorrow. Their mine as well.
I’m not sure if you caught it when I originally posted it, but here’s a link to one of my columns on the subject of kids and reading. I also adapted the post to run as a guest columnist op-ed in the Palm Beach Post. It was titled, “From the ‘ridiculous’ to the ‘sublime.’” The column also referenced everyone’s “favorite” Georgia representative, Marjorie Taylor Greene. In case you haven’t guessed, she’s the ‘ridiculous’ in the piece. https://around-the-block.com/2022/02/13/from-the-ridiculous-to-the-sublime/

I love it that these posters were made by kids. I hope the midterms will bring the results you and I and Ted are hoping for.
