Yes! And we just happened to be there on Friday at the time when one of the artists was giving a little tour of his work.

Yes. We (my two daughters and I) are coming down for the Book Festival. Haven’t missed one since it started. I used to rent (February and March) on East St. Julian and never missed going. I’m in Massachusetts now and have been coming back since 2016. Love it. My younger daughter has been coming with me since ’16 but my older daughter retired from teaching last year, so it’s her first time. Not her first time in Savannah, just the Book Festival.

That’s so very cool, Claire! I have been to the book festival several times and always enjoy it. And oh my goodness, we are on Congress St, and East St. Julian is the next street to the north of us! Near Washington Square. Did you ever attend the weekly Friday evening gathering of neighbors in the square?
