My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.
1. A reminder of childhood as I walked through Savannah‘s Ardsley Park neighborhood.

2. The joy of grandchildren this week.

3. Putting my head on my pillow in my bed each night. And realizing what a tremendous blessing that simple act really is.
4. Seeing this silly little whatever-it-is in a bathroom.

5. Getting a HUGE flower arrangement after having some minimally invasive back surgery recently.

May you have a Huge Blossom of Happiness this weekend.
I hope the surgery was a success.

Thanks, Don. I’m not feeling any pain relief yet, but the doctor says it could be up to two months before I can tell a difference.

Oh, I hope it’s sooner? Disc?

“Chronic lower back pain caused by inflammation of the basivertebral nerve.” They basically burned/destroyed that nerve. But weirdly, it can take quite a while to start feeling the results.

I’ve had back surgery twice. Took me 6 months the first time. Less the second.

Your grandchildren are beautiful, naturally! And I love the little “best seat in the house” what-not!!! I must try to find one of those! I hope your back surgery went well and that you’re back on your feet in no time! Have a happy weekend, my friend.

You were in our ‘hood in Ardsley! Was that before or after surgery? Asbury’s flower arrangements are so lovely.
