T-Shirt Tuesday: “Savannah Wildlife T-Shirt Series” #1

Yesterday when Robert and I ventured over to the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, we stopped by the Visitor Center for trail maps and took a gander inside the little nature-oriented gift shop. We are nerdy enough to always be on the lookout for new magnets and ornaments for our travel tree for Christmas.

I fell IN LOVE with a series of very cool T-shirts about area animals and what we can learn from them. So I decided to feature one on each T-shirt Tuesday for the next seven weeks.

First the Tremendous Turtle …

I love the “Be well-rounded” wisdom. The older I get, the rounder I seem to be.

A friendly turtle HR and I encountered at Okefenokee Swamp Park,

Let’s try to follow at least some of the wise turtle’s advice.

Cutesy Tuesday: “Little Free Libraries”

An occasional blog post category highlighting what I consider to be … cute.

All the “Little Free Libraries” I keep discovering.

Like this one at Seminole State Park in Donalsonville, GA (which Robert and I visited recently).

And where I found this very cool coffee table-ish book.

As frustrating as it is to me, and as disappointing that I’m sure it is to you, I will probably never be a saint.

Here’s HR and a Little Library at nearby Lake Mayer, where we often walk.

Do you have the Little Free Libraries in your area?

T-Shirt Tuesday “We’re All Connected”

On our morning walk in the mall today (with all the other “it’s-too-hot-to-walk-outside” old folks), HR and I came across this t-shirt in the window of one shop. Robert immediately suggested it for T-shirt Tuesday.

I didn’t quite get it at first. It just looked like an expensive Nike t-shirt.

But there was something about the first photo I took (capturing some neat reflections from behind) that exuded a bit of otherworldliness.

So I looked closer.

And closer.

Mentally removing the “Nike,” I appreciated the truthfulness of the quirky artwork.

Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad we are connected.
