One must protect one’s “do” no matter how ridiculous you look. Either that or she was off to do a robbery

This is such a delightful little moment of observation! A sudden downpour, lunch at Panera, and then an unexpected scene unfolding outside the window—sometimes the most ordinary moments become memorable when we take the time to notice them.
I especially love how your inquisitive nature turned a passing glimpse into a story.

Whatever works…maybe her hair becomes a mess when its wet. If it was me, I no longer own umbrellas and if it’s a downpour ooooohhhh wellll 😁

Quite smart, actually! Hey, Neal, if you haven’t read “Theo of Golden,” I highly recommend it. I thought about you and Robert while I was reading it.

Hi Dawn. I agree—the lady was wise! Yes, I LOVE Theo of Golden. And what made it even more special is that my younger daughter lives in Columbus GA, which Golden is based on. And there’s an actual coffee shop there with bust drawings! I recommend the book a lot!
