My husband and my grandtwins Matthew and Madison back in 2015.

Over the weekend, we noticed Robert’s older cat Boopers was having difficulty breathing.

And Sunday, Christmas Day, he was worse.
So Monday morn, HR dropped Boopers off at the vet. We went for breakfast and then got the call that Boopers was probably not going to make it much longer. Robert was shocked. We headed quickly back to the vet, only to be told the moment we walked in that Boopers was crashing. And then, that he had passed away.
Robert got to hold his beloved kitty one final time.

A few Boopers pics from the past.

With brother Benny …

A blog category of pics I’ve taken of HR (Hubby Robert) and … well, just about anything.
Robert and … his wings.

My Seraph

Here’s our newest ornament we bought on our fun-filled weekend trip to see the Atlanta Ballet’s “The Nutcracker.”

(Please notice HR’s new Christmas tree pants. But don’t be upset; he still has his Santa pants.)

Signed, Sealed and Delivered

For this blog category, “Countdown to Christmas: Images of Peace,” each day between December 1 and 25, I share some of our photography that invites rest, peace, tranquility and love.
A Piece of Pizza Peace
The other night Robert made perhaps his very best pizza ever on his newish and he’s-so-proud-of-it pizza stone.

5. Democracy winning …

May you have a winning weekend ahead!

Did you see this?

Yes, the bill now goes on to President Biden to sign into law!

But … hmm …

But why, WHY would they all vote to put my marriage to HR at risk? How does it harm them?
