Living in Savannah, with water all around, we love us Some Seafood!

Tonight Robert had leftover Low Country Boil (from our Christmas Day “New Traditional” Supper) …

While I was a bit more classy — Mussels with tomato, garlic and white wine sauce (ridiculously easy and quick to prepare) …

Beyond delicious!
It takes muscles to eat mussels!

What a Joyful Meal.

And a few of Robert’s more artsy shell photos …

Interesting that HR will not eat them, but he has no problem taking photos of them.

I took some leftover low country seafood boil recently and learned how to make a Creamy Seafood Pasta Sauce out of it with heavy cream. It is almost like a thicker, chunkier seafood chowder/bisque. So good!

Um … I’ll pass on the mussels, thank you. You can have them all to yourself! Enjoy!

Ha. Robert says that there’re about as bad as my raw oysters.

Why would Robert NOT eat them? They’re delicious! I cook mine in ONLY white wine and a large tablespoon of butter. Nothing better!
