… Is Good

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.
1. Evening walk along the Savannah River near us.

2. Kitty cat Benny’s peaceful head on me as we afternoon nap.

3. Retirement and its nap-ability schedule.
4. The hearty, comforting and delicious joy of a traditional egg, bacon, hash brown and sourdough toast breakfast.

5. Purple.

May you have a colorful weekend ahead.

I simply don’t understand our federal government’s Administration of Hatred.

WHY would these people take something born out of LOVE, the gay flag, and “recreate it” as … terrorism?
It makes NO sense.
Except perhaps in the twisted minds of authoritarian strongmen dictators and their blind-to-truth followers.

An excerpt from the disturbing article …

And here’s the beautiful Progress Flag the article references, along with the meaning behind the colors …

Maybe I’m stupid, but I don’t quite get how …
LIFE
HEALING
SUNLIGHT
NATURE
HARMONY
SPIRIT
And inclusive Love directed toward Indigenous Peoples, People of Color and Transgender People …
… are terroristic threats.
This is fascist insanity beyond belief.

But this is my country too, and I call upon …

… all true patriots to condemn this cancerous Avalanche of Hatred that Trump and his cronies are unleashing upon our nation and its very soul.

Wait, let me get this straight. Folks are getting fired from their jobs for exercising their first amendment right to speak freely.
But this guy can call for execution of American citizens with no punishment?
I’m marveling, as usual, at our amazing ability to read.
I invite you to stop whatever you’re doing for a moment and think/shout, “I can read!”
Here’s what I’m reading right now …

Happy Monday!

… Sanitize or “Saint-i-zize” a hate-monger, even as we EMPHATICALLY condemn the horrendous murder.

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.
1. Glorious early morning sunlight on grass.

2. Beginning to see a few (emphasis on “few”) early indications of Approaching Autumn here in Savannah.

3. The simply amazing Ability to Walk! What a blessing. The next time you walk today (if you can), shout (or think loudly), “Look at me! I am WALKING!”
4. The beautiful opposite of Happy Bringer #1 above …

… evening sunset.

5. Watermelon with a mouth.

Happy Weekend!
… when your daughter asks you to pose AS A SENIOR CITIZEN for some “professional photos” for new advertising for the Savannah medical company she founded and runs, Coastal Care Partners.

It took all my acting chops to pull off such a difficult and challenging role.
