What marvels are in your line of sight this day?
Today. 1:37 this afternoon.
SAVANNAH:

ST. PAUL:

Seriously?
Marveling! Over our quiet and simple, but delicious Christmas evening meal that Robert and I savored last night.

Definitely marveling this Monday morning.
Last night I made my rosemary spiced nuts for the holidays, and our apartment still smells incredible this morn.

15 minutes later …

Deliciously marvelous holiday joy.

Savannah’s own Raphael Warnock.

Breathing easier in Georgia this morning.
Walking near our place the other day, Robert and I came across this gorgeous rose.

IN NOVEMBER!!! Seriously?

Marveling this morn!
A sampling of YELLOW photographed near HR and me here in Historic District Savannah.

Marveling as about 100,000 of our friends joined HR and me at the 2022 Atlanta Pride Parade yesterday.

Sen. Raphael Warnock showed up, accompanied by his fellow Georgia senator and friend Jon Ossoff …

As did gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams …

Side-note: There were about a dozen other candidates present, all Democrats, for various state and local offices. But there wasn’t a Republican candidate to be found. Not one. No Gov. Brian Kemp. No Herschel Walker. I wonder why.

May we all drive on toward full equality.

Walking to beautiful Forsyth Park here in Savannah, HR and I came upon this old Spanish Moss-covered tree we had passed many a time before.

But this time, the tree beckoned us over.

“What,” I asked, still not sure what was going on.

“Why do you all walk past me, ignoring me, disrespecting me? I have been here long before any of you arrived.”
And for the first time in, well, forever, I saw the tree as a living being. A fellow creature on planet earth.

A tree who “sees and understands.”
