Cranberry-time!

Cranberry-time!

“PEACE”

Yet the Evil Right, led by extremists such as House Speaker Mike Johnson, wants to eradicate this Peaceful Joy.
May their anti-God, anti-democracy, anti-patriot, anti-freedom, anti-human voice be silenced.
So that we can rest, for a while, in the Sheep Meadow.
So a while back, I did a short series of T-shirt Tuesdays with cool wildlife T-shirts I saw at the Savannah Wildlife Refuge gift shop.
Recently we went back, and I snapped a few more photos. (With a few folks staring at me for pulling the T-shirts off the racks and positioning them for my photo op.)
Today … the Beautiful Butterfly.

Let’s try to get out of our cocoons today.

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.
1. Falling beauty. (Even in a Savannah shopping center parking lot.)

2. Belts.

3. More autumn beauty in Savannah.

4. An early Thanksgiving dinner at our church’s Wednesday Night Supper this week, with ex-wife Donna and our good buddy Margaret.

We all just have SO very much to be thankful for! (Especially those garlic mashed potatoes with gravy.)

5. Covered streets.

May you have a cornucopia of joy this weekend.
So when HR went to see the latest superhero movie today, I rushed over to Chick-fil-A for my first Holiday Peppermint Shake of the season.

Festive Yum!
But the terrifically decadent treat wasn’t even the best part. Oh no! No it was not!
Guess what was?

The folks at Chick-fil-A told me I was the BEST PART of TODAY!!! Me, the best part of their day!

See? Neal! Little me from Savannah, Georgia! Out of the thousands (millions?!) of people who ate at Chick-fil-A today!

Aren’t you proud of me?!

(I’m assuming it meant the world, and not just the United States.)
So a while back, I did a short series of T-shirt Tuesdays with cool wildlife T-shirts I saw at the Savannah Wildlife Refuge gift shop.
We went back the other day for a morning hike, and I snapped a few other photos. (With a few folks staring at me for pulling the T-shirts off the racks and positioning them for my photo op.)
Today, the Elegant Eagle.

Just look at the eagle’s truth!

(I am increasingly appreciating the “bald is beautiful” sentiment.)
For eons, I taught writing and linguistics at Georgia Southern University, whose mascot was the magnificent eagle.

May your spirit soar today.
A blog category of pics I’ve taken of HR (Hubby Robert) and … well, just about anything.
Robert and … Fried Chicken.

At one our our fav little homey farm/restaurants, about 20 minutes over the Savannah River in Bluffton, SC.

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.
1. The joy of having, here in Savannah, so MANY art galleries. SCAD, the Savannah College of Art and Design, has several galleries. One of our favorites is the Gustein. a five minute walk from us.

2. Geraniums in November.

3. Our wonderful noses and the ability to smell!
4. Grandson Daniel’s voice in his current play.

5. Lovely lunch with ex-wife Donna and HR at St. John Episcopal Church’s annual Holly Days Bazaar (which has been going on for 80 years now).

Joyful weekend ahead!
