Five Friday Happy Bringers 7/17/26

1. Fresh, local summer sweet corn!

2. Grandson Daniel (having recently finished his freshman year at Shenandoah Conservatory/Musical Theatre), waiting with MANY others at an open call on Broadway.

He didn’t get a callback but felt he sang well and had a great experience.

3. The ability to hear!

4. These roses in our bathroom window.

5. Enjoying these gigantic inflatables outside the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Five Friday Happy Bringers 8/2/24

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.

1. Swimming grandchildren.

2. Fresh summer field peas! Oh my GOODness.

3. The prickly beauty of Red Roses.

4. Air conditioning. (That really should be Number One. )

5. “My” Square, Washington Square, near us— which is a sort of ward/neighborhood outdoor living room. (Savannah‘s historic district has 22 beautiful squares.)

See HR? Photo snapping, as usual.

May you have a picture perfect weekend ahead!

(Or at least a little rest.)

Five Friday Happy Bringers 8/11/23

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.

1. Roses from HR.

2. Yummy breakfast at our new favorite Savannah bakery, Sweet Patricia’s (named after the chef’s grandmother).

Puff pastries with egg and bacon. Sweet roll with orange filling.

3. Having enough money to buy puff pastries and a sweet roll.

4. Also having …

Even if it gets turned around sometime.

5. Reading a new book about one of my anxiety issues …

May you breathe easily into a terrific weekend ahead.

The Only Time

Grandsons Gabriel (13) and Daniel (16) — far too old to Easter egg hunt!

Ex-wife Donna and the grandchildren

Robert pretty unsuccessfully trying to get everyone ready for the photo above

“Okay, for this pic, surprise us with silly!”

Younger daughter Emily jumping in front of the cam and stealing the show …

And I hope you are having a Joyful Jumping Easter.
