When my husband and I went to Chili’s recently, there was one cook and only a handful of staff for a full restaurant. We waited a long time to get our order taken, receive our drinks, etc. The waitress kept apologizing, when we could even get her attention. We waited for an hour for our food, which never came. We canceled our order, apologized, and my husband gave the waitress a $20.00 tip, he felt so bad for her. It was her very first day on the job! We have not tried to eat out since. It just isn’t worth the hassle.
