Seriously?

WTOC, Savannah

Seriously? Look at those words. Why aren’t they celebrated instead of obliterated?

“Compassion” needs to be Cremated?

“Diversity” needs to be Destroyed?

I pray: “May the Horrendously Evil Trump Regime soon be Painted Over before our wonderful nation promising freedom and liberty for all be destroyed.”

“Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.”

Five Friday Happy Bringers 1/31/25

My weekly gratitude journal, of sorts.

1. Sleep. And we get to do it every night! (And sometimes after lunch.)

2. Incredibly huge (and colorful!) container ships traversing past me as I read on Savannah River’s bluff near us.

3. The wonderful ability to read! Can you imagine NOT having this gift?!

What I just finished:

A creatively riveting novel about what we are doing to our world, our wildlife, our plants and ultimately ourselves, as told by a very special gorilla.

4. Triangles and Lines

Pond at J. F. Gregory Park, Richmond Hill GA

5. Embracing the Year of the Snake.

May we do some healthy shedding this new year.

Peaceful Weekend to You.

Left Behind

It’s hard to believe that a week ago Savannah was COVERED in snow and ice.

Quite the rarity.

But it’s 70° now, and I just finished a delightful afternoon walk.

But as I was traversing a particularly shady area, LO AND BEHOLD, look what I saw!

A gigantic Snow Frog leaping from the Monkey Grass onto the sidewalk directly in front of me.

I started to question his pedestrian sensibilities, but then decided against it.

I wanted to give him a little more precious time to get to wherever he was going.

Don’t placate the hate. Don’t let others defend the indefensible. Don’t let others berate you for “being political.” Don’t let others convince you …
